Documentary feature, The Bough Breaks, which Caroline co-directed and co-produced with Danny Strong, has entered the international film festival circuit. It had its UK premiere at the Holbeck Cinema during the LUMA Festival, University of York, June 2023. The summer/autumn itinerary includes venues at Isle of Eigg, Eden Court Cinema, Cromarty Cinema, An Lanntair, Forvie NNR and the NESEN Symposium, (James Hutton Institute/ University of Aberdeen.) and Dundreggan Rewilding Centre.. Only recently entered on to the festival circuit, it has already been awarded Best Environmental Film and Best Editing at the Cinematography & Photography Awards (London) and was Finalist in the Best Documentary category and won an Honourable Mention in the Best Directing category at AIMAFF (Athens).

Caroline directs and produces documentary and corporate work for the independent film company  MOUSEHOLE FILMS.

Documentary feature The Village On The Loch marked her directing debut, as a feature director, for which she has been awarded 11 of the film's 14 awards, including Best First Time Director in the  Canadian Cinematography Awards, Toronto  (Aug 2019) and a Gold Award for Directing in the Latitude Film Awards, London (Feb 2019). She has just completed co-directing and co-producing documentary feature The Bough Breaks with Danny Strong. At its heart, is the work of visionary conservationist and ecologist, Alan Watson Featherstone, and his charity Trees For Life (which has been restoring Scotland's ancient Caledonian Forest since the 1980s).It explores the broader subject of Rewilding and the valuable contribution it makes in tackling some of the global conservation and climate issues, currently threatening life on Earth. It also discusses the urgency for more individual responsibility in the stewardship of our planet and the enormous legacy one man can gift to the future, by staying true to his personal vision.
She is also working on WWII documentary CULTYBRAGGAN which was delayed due to Covid 19 and other unforeseen production setbacks and hopes to release it in 2023..
The company have a number of further feature projects in development and Caroline also directs and produces online content and promotional films for a range of clients:. Clients include: The Library of Innerpeffray, The University of York, Environment Department and Perth & Kinross LEADER Programme. She is currently directing online series The Outside In, presented by ecologist and wildlife cameraman, Danny Strong. Mousehole Films specialises in commissions with conservation/natural history content.
